What happened to the Barong photo?

Question:  Why do I see a non-photograph Barong image instead of an actual photograph of the Barong?

Answer:  All of our made-to-order Barongs are represented by an actual photograph. However, when you select a collar type &/or sleeve style that is different from that in the photograph, the Barong's photograph is automatically replaced by an image that shows the selected collar / sleeve style. We realize that an actual photograph would be better, but it's not feasible to make & photograph every possible combination of Barong design options that we offer. (there are literally millions of Barong design variations available in our made-to-order & custom tailored Barong lines).

Question:  Why can't I see the embroidery in the Barong image?

Answer:  In the non-photograph images of Barongs, the embroidery may not be visible because:

  • we have not yet created the image that includes the embroidery (but our graphic designers are working on it)
  • the contrast between the embroidery and the fabric color may be too slight to see the embroidery (especially if the Barong has off-white embroidery on cream fabric or white embroidery on white fabric ). In a photograph, you can easily see the embroidery. But in creating a non-photograph image, it's often difficult to achieve that same look. (but we're working on improving our graphic images)

Solution:

  • To get the best view of the actual embroidery, click on the "Embroidery Photo Gallery" link below the image.
  • Or, you can change the collar type &/or sleeve style back to their original values to make the photograph display.
  • You could also "refresh" the page to display the photo, but that would erase any options you had selected & measurements you had entered on the page.
