Throughout the Philippines, we see living testaments of the lack of opportunity for children of the poor. The “Sampaguita child,” often barefoot, barely clothed and selling strings of the fragrant national flower in busy intersections, has become an all-too-familiar symbol of the plight of poor children in our motherland.
Sampaguita Project was established by the founders of MyBarong.com as a means to give opportunity & hope to children who need it most. From school nutrition programs to scholarships, Sampaguita Project is dedicated to helping children develop a life of opportunity. How you can contribute meaningfully & immediately: 1.
